City Utilities
Jackson provides municipal electric, sewer, and water services for almost all locations within the city limits. Solid waste pickup is provided for qualifying customers (single family dwellings and duplexes). Please email the Collector's office for sign-on guidance or come into City Hall at 101 Court Street. For existing customers moving outside of city limits, please notify us via email or come into City Hall. We will need your current location, forwarding address, and sign-off date.
City of Jackson Utility Bill Online Access/Payment Portal
Note: The link above allows you to view your billing and payment history for free (account activity is updated nightly).
Please note there is a convenience fee for payments made through the portal. These fees are assessed by the payment processor, not the City of Jackson. You do not need to pay through the portal to use it for tracking your account.
To make a payment with no added fees, we recommend you sign up for automatic withdrawal with the City (available on the 5th, 10th, or 20th - your choice) or generate a payment using your own bank's online payment service. Sign up for automatic withdrawal (PDF).

Financial Assistance
To avoid a delay in processing any paperwork, any request for assistance should be in the utility account holder's name.
Please provide them a copy of your ID, your utility bill, and any partial payment receipts. Failure to do so could delay the process.
Note: Assistance programs are governed by the funding agencies' requirements; qualification for financial help is subject to their approval, not the City of Jackson.
Financial assistance is available for eligible utility customers through the Missouri Department of Social Services.
