Lights of the Season
Date: Saturday, November 25, 2023 - Sunday, January 1, 2024
Location: Parkview Street in the Jackson, Missouri City Park
Space Size: 22’ wide
Registration: Due to the overwhelming response for this year's display program, registration is now closed.
Display Guidelines: No advertisements. Displays must pertain to the holiday season with only the displayer’s name at the bottom. Displays must be able to weather rain and wind. City will provide the electrical hookup; displayer needs to provide extension cords. It is recommended that electrical connections be covered using a water-tight connection. Displays will be located on Parkview Street and numbered with wooden stakes. The wooden space stakes will be placed by November 10.
Displayer is responsible for placing the display in its assigned space before November 26, 2023, and taking the display down no later than January 14, 2023.
Lights will be turned on nightly starting November 26, and will continue to be turned on nightly through New Year’s Eve. Vandalism is a risk. The Jackson Police Department will patrol the area during display season. The City of Jackson is not responsible for any damage that may occur to display.
Displayers will be notified of their space location on Monday, November 14. Space information will also be available by contacting the Parks and Recreation office at (573) 204-8848 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Merry Main Street Mile
Sunday, December 3 | 4:15 pm
Start/Finish: West Main and Morgan Streets
Cost: $20 per person (participants 5 & under are free)
The first 50 registrants will receive Christmas swag!
This out-and-back course will follow the Christmas parade route on Main and High Streets.

Come enjoy a magical night with food, dancing, games, memories & fun! Be sure to dress in your best Prince/Princess attire as we will have a few special guests joining us.
Cost: $15 per person; VIP tickets-$20 per person (only available for the first 50 children; parents do not need to purchase a VIP ticket to accompany a child). VIP tickets include a meet & greet with Princesses, decorating a friendship bracelet, and photo with Princesses.
This event is for children age 4-12 years old.
