Utility Bill News

The City of Jackson offers two options for automatic payment of utility bills for its customers.   When you enroll, the City will deduct the amount of your utility bill, by bank draft, from your checking or savings account.   The transaction can be done on the 10th of each month or the first business day following the 10th of the month; for business customers,  the transaction can be scheduled done the 20th of the month or the first business day prior to the 20th of the month.

The utility bill is still mailed to you on the first of each month; it is marked as auto withdrawal -You will know ahead of time the exact amount that will be withdrawn from your account.

In addition, budget billing for electric service for small commercial and residential customer accounts is available.  Participants must have a full year of usage and payments on the account and no late fees incurred by the responsible party on any utility account with the City.
