The Jackson City Park, established in 1933, is the oldest in our park system. Hubble Creek winds through the park with a walk over bridge. Totaling 87.59 acres, the City Park is busy with many year-round activities, Entrances are located from the streets of North High (old Highway 61), Independence, West Park and Union. Listed below are park features:
1 ½ mile recreational trail, 7 playground areas, 2 lighted outdoor basketball courts,
Municipal Pool, 6 lighted tennis courts, 1 sand volleyball court, 6 pavilions, 5 restrooms, 1 skate board pad / 4 modular jumps,
3 acre lake , 3 Horse shoe pits, 6 baseball / softball fields. 1 flower garden
