Park Day is scheduled for April 29

Let’s plan on doing a little spring cleaning.  It will soon be time again for volunteers to pitch in for Park Day in Jackson. Get down to the City Park to help out, have some snacks, and score a free t-shirt.

Jackson’s annual Park Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 29.  This annual community clean-up day will start at 8:00 a.m. at Pavilion #1 on Parkview Street in the City Park.  All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and refreshments.  This event is a great opportunity for the community to help clean and beautify the park.  Residents, businesses, and service groups are welcome. 

Community members are also encouraged to clean up other park sites and areas around town -- consider areas around your homes, businesses, churches, schools, and more.

If individuals cannot attend the event on April 29 but would like to help beautify the park system, please contact the City to receive details on other opportunities to participate.
