Notice to Bid for Uptown Lighting, Event Power, Crosswalk and Sidewalk Improvements
Separate sealed bids for Uptown Lighting, Event Power, Crosswalk and
Sidewalk Improvements for the City of Jackson will be received in the office of the City
Administrator at City Hall, 101 Court Street, Jackson, Missouri until 2:00 P.M. (prevailing
local time), on Thursday, March 23, 2017, and then at said office publicly opened and
read aloud. Any proposal received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time will
be returned to the bidder.
Bids shall be prepared and submitted on the proposal form. The envelopes
containing the bids must be sealed, addressed and designated as bids for the Uptown
Lighting, Event Power, Crosswalk and Sidewalk Improvements; Attn: City
In general, the project consists of installing 14 cast iron light poles with LED
fixtures, including all wiring, equipment and other incidental items, installation of event
power, including all wiring, equipment and other incidental items, installation of stamped
concrete crosswalks, improvements to sidewalks including installation of new handicap
ramps and installation of brick pavers.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. If
a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest and best, responsive, responsible
