Separate sealed bids for the Baseball League Uniform bid project to serve the City of Jackson will be received in the office of the City Administrator at City Hall, 101 Court Street, Jackson, Missouri until 10:00 AM (prevailing local time), on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, and 10:00 AM then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Notice to Bid - Baseball League Uniforms
Bid proposals shall be prepared by the Bidders and submitted on the bid sheet. The envelope containing the bids must be sealed, addressed and designated as bids for the Baseball League Uniform Bid Project; Attn: City Administrator.
Bid proposals shall be made in accordance with the Specifications, Bid Documents, which are on file and available for examination in the office of the Parks & Recreational director or online at Baseball Uniform Specifications and are made part of this notice as though fully set forth herein.
A pre-bid conference will not be held, but prospective Bidders may contact Parks & Recreation Director Shane Anderson at 573-204-8848.
The City may issue addenda as may be necessary in the best interest of the public and the City of Jackson.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, and to select the company most advantageous to the City. If any award is made, it will be made to the lowest and best, responsive, responsible bidder.
All wages paid for work under this contract shall comply with the requirements of the current prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Sec. 290.210 through 290.340 R.S. Mo. 1978, as amended. Bidders must agree to comply with all statutory regulations referred to in the specifications.
The City hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
