  2. Request For Proposals - NFPA 1006 Training Services Program

    Notice is hereby given that sealed Proposals for the NFPA 1006 Training Services Program will be received by the City of Jackson, Missouri, in the office of the City Clerk, at City Hall, 101 Court Street, Jackson, Missouri 63755, until 10:00 a.m. (prevailing local time) on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. 

    The envelopes containing the proposals must be sealed, addressed, and designated as proposals for the “NFPA 1006 Proposal; Attn: City Clerk”. 

    The purpose of this program is to train members of MO Region E Homeland Security Response Team (HSRT) to technician level job performance requirements (JPR) for select chapters of NFPA 1006: Standard for Technical Rescue Personnel Professional Qualifications, 2017 edition. 

    Proposals shall be made in accordance with the Request For Proposal documents dated October 23, 2019 which are on file and available for examination at the office of the City Administrator in City Hall and are made part of this notice as though fully set forth herein and a copy of which may be obtained at City Hall or online at www.jacksonmo.org. 

    All proposals shall be typewritten or signed in permanent ink. 

    The City may issue addenda as may be necessary in the best interest of the public and the City of Jackson. 

    The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all submittals, and to select the Consultant most advantageous to the City of Jackson.  The selection of the Consultant will be based upon total cost of the project, ability to meet the required outcomes, project team qualifications, demonstrated knowledge and experience, and willingness to meet time requirements. 

    The City of Jackson hereby notifies all Consultants that it will affirmatively insure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
