  2. Boil Water Advisory Lifted on East Jackson Boulevard and Annwood Estates

City officials have announced the Boil Water Advisory is now lifted for the affected areas on East Jackson Boulevard in Jackson, Missouri from Walton Drive to Huber Crest Drive.  This area included all of the businesses on Walton Drive, the entire subdivision of Annwood Estates, and parts of Old Cape Road.

A water main broke on Brittany Drive in Annwood Estates around 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday night, August 7th.  Water Distribution crews repaired the line, flushed the system, restored the pressure, and returned water service to all customers by 3:00 A.M. on Thursday morning.  The City finished testing the water quality this morning and the tests showed no evidence of contamination.

This confirms that the City of Jackson’s water is safe for consumption without boiling and residents can freely drink and use their water.
